Returning for its seventh year, the Women in Power Conference will highlight women at the forefront of 2024’s most pressing challenges. A conference for changemakers, leaders, and advocates, attendees will learn new skills and hear from women charting new frontiers, championing new ideas, and leading across areas such as climate change, AI, and ongoing conflicts.

CINEMA & CONVERSATION WITH INTERNATIONALLY ACCLAIMED FILMMAKER DR. VIBHA CHHABRA BAKSHI
Join us on Friday night at 6:30pm in the JFK Jr. Forum to kickoff the conference with the screening of the groundbreaking documentary SON RISE, where men have emerged as the unexpected gender rights heroes breaking the shackles of patriarchy. Snacks and drinks will be served!
This multi-award-winning film has been selected for UN’s global #HeForShe movement across 71 priority countries.
The 50 minute screening will be followed by a fireside chat with the director & producer, Dr. Vibha Chhabra Bakshi, recipient of four National Film Awards from the President of India, the highest recognition in Indian cinema and Dr. David Smith, Professor at the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School and author of “Good Guys: How Men Can Be Better Allies for Women in the Workplace.” Anjali Nair, Harvard Kennedy School MPA/ID 2025 and conference co-chair, will moderate the discussion.
